PUT A TIGER IN YOUR TANK:

The 25th Fighter Squadron, 51st Fighter Group was activated in March 1941. Unit saw action in the
Pacific Theater, China, Burma, India.
Flying Curtiss P-40M's and operated against the Japanese bombing, strafing enemy troops, bombing bridges, supply and fuel dumps and enemy communication lines. Unit returned to the US and was deactivated on December 1945.

POST-WAR:

Later assigned to Naha AFB, Okinawa flying F-47 Republic Thunderbolts and F-80 Lockheed Shooting Star Jet Fighters.

I am not entirely certain but there is reason to believe this picture is of Sgt. H. Allen Larsen, 35th PRS. He authored a book with another 14th AF veteran William L. Dibble "China in the Eyes of Flying Tigers 1944-1945" Paperback – June 1, 2012 which is full of color photos of their time in China.
