UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT:

One Kawanishi H6K Mavis was captured and later used by Indonesian Nationalists. Personnel are RAF maintenance section, working on the engines, making it ready for a test flight. Photo taken at Sourabaya Java January 1946.

WAR ORPHAN:

Later the Mavis fell into Dutch hands, and finally
taken by the British along with other Japanese aircraft, and later scrapped.
