These trucks are parked in Piazza Venezia which sits directly in front of Palazzo Venezia, out of frame to the camera’s right. Well before this photo was taken, Palazzo Venezia served as Mussolini’s Party headquarters and many of his notable speeches were delivered from its balcony.
