7.7mm Type 89 machine gun, this weapon used a flat drum magazine of 69 rounds with a rate of fire of 750rpm, effective range of 600meters/(1,970ft).
Later on crews added a 12.7mm Type 1 machine gun /0.50 caliber this weapon was very similar to the US Browning.
