Must have been a job, just to mask that B-25
Bombers left North American in Beautiful OD, Olive Drab w/Gray Undersides.
Later aircraft camouflage was dropped and
B-25s left the factory in natural aluminum finish. By the end of World War II, 10,000
B-25s were built.

SUPPORTING THE FIGHTING MAN:

The unsung heros of WWII were the civilian production workers they produced the weapons 24 hours a day, 7 days a week many worked two shifts some worked round the clock, a few hours sleep at the factory and back on the assembly line.
My late Father worked this way 24/7 Dad was an inspector who balanced the counter-rotating propellers for torpedos and tested them.
When the Allies landed at Normandy on June 6, 1944 everybody felt the war in Europe would be over within ten months, were they right, and the Pacific within 6 months.
