Looking for info about my Father he was with the 40st Fighter Squadron 512th Ordnance Section. He spoke quiet often of his experience, just recently found some picture, and got me to thinking again, he passed away 36 yrs ago. Loved to hear him speak about his WW2 days.

Hey Anonymous from 12 Feb 2011. You mentioned your father Robert Spence. I am researching local WWII veterans and came across your Dad's name in a Missing Air Crew Report for one of our veterans. He was a witness to the crash. Would be happy to share this information with you.
