Famous WW2 Quote
"All right, they're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us... they can't get away this time."Lt. Gen. Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller, at Guadalcanal

This is an excellent view of the harbor and the facilities located there. Ford Island is at center with Battleship Row along the left edge. In the harbor clockwise around Ford Island from the bottom is: East Loch anchorage, the Supply Depot with the Submarine Base to the left of that, the Repair Basins, the Drydocks, Hospital Point, Waipio Peninsula (weapons storage), Middle Loch anchorage, and Pearl City Peninsula. Hickam Field and the harbor entrance are at the top of the photo.
