TRAINNG DAY: FLIGHT-LINE PRE FLIGHT
F4U-4 Corsair pilots and ground crew start the day running up engines and testing hydraulics for another training day. About 2,350 F4U-4's were built from early 1944 to 1946 survivor's flew in WWII and later Korea.
At the end of WWII in the Pacific both the US Navy and Marines had on strength 2,100 Corsairs. Squadrons were still carrier-based after WWII many flew with reserve and training units
