- Alekseev's small Volunteer Army recaptured Rostov, Russia. After this the Krug (Cossack Parliament) allowed the volunteers to remain on Cossack soil on the understanding that it came under control of the Don Coalition Government and that it assisted in protecting the western Don from Bolshevik invasion. ww2dbase [AC]
