IN A BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPH, ITS HARD TO TELL IF THE OFFICER IS A MAJOR OR LT. COLONEL
A FULL COLONEL'S RANK, IS A SILVER EAGLE.
"GIs WOULD RECOGNIZE AS A CHICKEN OR BIRD COLONEL". A LT. COLONEL WOULD BE CALLED A LIGHT COLONEL HIS RANK A SILVER OAK LEAF THE MAJOR HAS A GOLD OAK LEAF.
THAT OFFICER LOOKS LIKE HE HAS THE 1,000 YARD STARE
