This is Doolittle Crew #14 (14th to fly off Hornet). L to R they are: Lt James H Macia, Jr (Navigator/Bombardier), Maj John A Hilger (Pilot), SSgt Edwin V Bain (Gunner), Lt Jack A Sims (Co-Pilot), SSgt Jacob Eirman (Engineer). All survived the mission after parachuting into China. MSgt Bain was killed in action in Italy in 1943 but the other four survived the war.
