DEFEAT OF NAZI GERMANY:

Victory! over Nazi Germany this would be the first and last time the two Superpowers the United States and the USSR defeat a common enemy in the 20th Century.
After WWII the Cold War changed the face of Europe for the next forty years and separated Europe into two armed camps, each with its own alliances, NATO and the Warsaw Pact.
Decades after the end of WWII the greatest conflict in human history still holds its secrets, with books, movies and documentaries, and will continued to be studied by historians for centuries...

I thank the editor/ww2db for allowing me to share my knowledge of WWII...
