My Grandfather Vernon Franklin Sullivan of the 3rd Infantry Division Anzio Beachhead. He went by "Jack", he was a mechanic in the field and carried a 45 Thompson. That's all I know. He passed in 1998 at age 76. I would like to find out more about him during WW2. Can you help please?
