ww2dbaseThe German Navy issued the order to Deschimag for the construction of submarine U-3059 in Nov 1943. Her keel was laid down on Slip III of the AG Weser yard in Bremen, Germany in Feb 1945, but the construction would not be completed before the end of the war. She was ultimately broken up on the building slips.
