ww2dbaseRo-58, an 889-ton "L3" type submarine, was built at Kobe, Japan. Completed in November 1922 under the name (submarine) Number 47, she was renamed Ro-58 two years later. During World War II, she was employed as a training submarine. Ro-58 was taken out of service in May 1945. She was surrendered to the Allied Occupation Forces in September of that year and scrapped.
