"EAT LEAD"
Did you know that during the 1930's the U.S.
had no 20mm weapon under development the
Swiss, Germans and the French lead in this type of weapon.
Before the fall of France an improved model
reached England. The Hispano-Suiza design
was added to the Spitfire Mk. V, and found
its way into the P-38 Lightning.
The P-38 was armed with four fifty caliber machine guns w/ 500 rounds per-gun and one 20mm cannon w/ 150 rounds.
