1930s CHINA:

Longhua Pagoda location Shanghai, China, this Pagoda is a Buddhist temple and major landmark for CNAC flying in and out of Shanghai height was 40 meters or 131 feet. During WWII CNAC
flew over 100,000 tons of cargo and supplies making 38,000 trips to support US and Chinese forces. Operated DC-2/DC-3's, DC-4/C-54's and
C-46 aircraft.
