This is Doolittle Crew #12 (12th to fly off Hornet). L to R they are: Lt William R Pound, Jr (Navigator), Lt William M Bower (Pilot), TSgt Waldo J Bither (Bombardier), Lt Thadd H Blanton (Co-Pilot), SSgt Omer A Duquette (Engineer/Gunner). All survived the mission after parachuting into China. SSgt Duquette was killed in action in Burma in 1942 but the other four survived the war.
