The camp was liberated by the brave Spanish republican soldiers captured while fighting against fascist/nazis, before the troops arrived. They could not return to its country because the allies allowed the filo-nazi Franco dictature to remain ... until 1975. "Glory " to the western "democracies" liberating Europe, but abandoned the Spanish democrats under a criminal regime that last 40 years. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME
