Kahului Naval Air Station Timeline

17 Jun 1940 Civilian contractors began working on the expansion of the US Navy airfield on Maui, US Territory of Hawaii.
15 Jun 1944 US Navy 142nd Construction Battalion relieved the 39th Construction Battalion in the construction of the Naval Air Station Kahului in US Territory of Hawaii.
