ww2dbaseBluie East One was a weather station located at the entrance to the Prince Christian Sound near the southern tip of Greenland. It was built by the US military during WW2, for the purpose of providing weather data. It remained in use for the same purpose after the war, and is jointly run by the International Civil Aviation Organization and the Tele Greenland today.
