- Settsu arrived at Sasebo, Japan. ww2dbase [Settsu | Sasebo, Nagasaki | CPC]
- Russia signed a peace treaty with the Central Powers at Brest-Litovsk, Russia (now in Belarus). Its fourteen articles reduced the territorial possessions of Russia to those of Muscovy before the time of Peter the Great.
