On 4 Aug she picked up and treated 166 survivors of the cruiser Indianapolis, delivering them to Guam on 8 Aug. On 27 Aug and 18 Oct, she picked up and treated 766 patients and 788 patients from Apra Harbor, respectively, delivering both groups to San Francisco.
