Commission Announced Official Dresden Bombing Death Toll
An official German report, published by the Dresden Historians' Commission after five years of research, puts the death toll of the Feb 1945 Dresden bombing at 25,000. This number matched previous official reports, including those issued by the Nazi German government during the war; other estimates sometimes ran as high as hundreds of thousands. The attack by British and American bombers on the city, which was at a strategically important location but the city itself contained few military targets, is still controversial today.

To state that 25,000 died in the firebombing of Dresden is ludicrous. The figure was just the indentifiable victims. Hundreds of thousands more were vaporized in cellars and
underground shelters.. The lies continue...

Numbers change from one investigation team to other. They say, germans put one more zero stating that 202.400 people have died in Dresden Air Raids. It's quite the same thing. The Jewish Organisations for the holocaust did the same One more zero at the number and 600,000 dead jews become 6.000,000. It ain't easy....

I do understand why this 'anonymous' is anonymous. In his/her place I'd also hesitate to put my name under!

Yea, "anonymous"'s politics are very obvious. Just another coward revisionist living in a fantasy world. It's no wonder they won't use their real name.

The moral questions surrounding the firebombing of Dresden are often compared with similar issues about the firebombing of Tokyo. Readers interested in either one are encouraged to study both.
