AND KILL TANKS: TIGER IN ACTION TANK COUNTRY
FLAT AND OPEN.
The Tiger could fire at targets at long range
the 88mm gun was very accurate and capable of first round hits at over 1,000 meters.
2,000 meter kills, have been recorded, this
allowed the Tiger to stand off and engage targets. sort of pick and chose

Commander Paul Egger K.C. racking up the kills that will make him an ace.

Sorry, this tiger is not commanded by Egger, but by SS-Obersturmführer Philip Theiss.

Hi all
Tiger 1 had a fantastic range, 2 kilometers was a reasonably easy shot, Kurt Knispel killed a Russian T 34 at 3,000 meters. There is so much talk about the T34 being the best tank ever built, sorry it came a long way behind the Tiger series of tanks
