Our Gang (42-5069) was lost over Sankt Goar, Germany during the Schweinfurt raid of 17 Aug 1943 while on her 21st mission. All 10 crew members survived and were taken prisoner.

I have 3 large photos 8 by 10 inch and one smaller photo of our gang B-17 and crew in jeep all original classified confidential. and marked official photograph U.S.ARMY AIR FORCES not to be reproduced without permision. Not sure how I ended up with them do you think thay have any value? Also the crew is listed on the back of them. Is it possible to return them to the family.

If you still have the Photos of the Our Gang Bomber, My Father in Law Jim Cobb was the Radio Operator on the Schweinfurt Raid and was a survivor. He died in Fremont North Carolina in 1995. I am married to his Daugher "Libbie" and just celebrated my 40th Wedding Anniversary with the love of my life.

Would love to get a copy of the photos from you if possible.

Jerry

The pilot in the cockpit is my dad. His crew flew 25 missions before returning home and turning the plane over to the crew that flew the Schweinfurt Raid.

James - I believe my grandfather Arthur L. Smith flew with your father as a radio operator. I am working on typing out his life story (he hand wrote it) and he mentions his Captain James Smith flying Our Gang and how much he trusted and respected him.
